Rhianna Pratchett, one of the more seasoned writers in the industry, was on board for the development of the original Mirror's Edge. However a conversation on Twitter reveals that she's not involved with the new game.
"It's really lovely that people care enough to ask whether I'm involved with Mirror's Edge 2, but I'm not & wasn't asked."
"Let's face it ME1's story didn't review that great (for many reasons). So I consider myself a casualty of that development process."
Was she then pleased with how the plot played out: <i>"No. The script got hacked up at the 11th hour due to a decision to remove all of Faith's level dialogue."
Ouch. Remains to be seen who pens the new Mirror's Edge and how far the game is in development.
