Turtle Rock Studios the studio that brought us Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and Left 4 Dead (and that was owned by Valve between 2008 and 2009) have officially revealed their next title Evolve on the cover of this month's GameInformer magazine (US).
Evolve was originally signed by THQ, but went on the auction block as the publisher filed for bankruptcy and it was Take-Two (2K Games) who ended up winning the rights at auction.
As you'd expect co-operation is part of the recipe as Evolve pits four alien hunters against an alien that grows larger and more potent over the course of the matches. Each of the hunters have their own unique set of abilities and while the monster would appear outnumbered he or she (we're not sure of the gender) sports a set of useful abilities.
The game is being targeted for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One this fall.
