The British game industry was the focal point of last night's final of The Young Apprentice.

The show, which features several aspiring young business people, tasked finalists to create an online game and support it with a viral ad campaign. The fruits of their labour were then presented to industry professionals and Lord Sugar.

The winning game, Piggy Panic, was the brainchild of entrepreneurial Zara Brownless, who went on to claim a prize fund of £25,000.

The UK games industry trade association - UKIE - was central to the creation of the competition, providing the finalists with the tools they needed to tackle the final challenge.
