One criticism of the 3DS could be that there aren't enough quality games available for the handheld. Not anymore; this is one thing that looks set to change next year.
This winter has seen the release of some essential titles, most notably two new Mario games; titles that have picked up the flagging sales of Nintendo's 3D console. No doubt fans all breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Excitingly this trend of quality releases looks set to continue into the new year with Resident Evil: Revelations due out in late January, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games in February, Tekken 3D Prime Edition arriving in Quarter 1 and, perhaps most interestingly, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D due out some time early in the year.
Later on in 2012 we can expect to see Luigi's Mansion 2, Professor Layton 5 and Mario Tennis. If the title you are waiting for isn't there then you can look at a more complete list on The Official Nintendo Magazine's website.
