MCV reports that the loudest analyst of the industry, Michael Pachter has gone on record saying PS4 outsold Xbox One during the month of November by 66 percent. He estimates 1.25 million PS4 units and 750,000 units of Xbox One were sold. A ratio that closely mimicks the one during launch in the UK (250,000 PS4s vs.150,000 Xbox Ones). Of course, Sony had an extra week of sales compared to Xbox One in the States (PS4: Nov 15, Xbox One: Nov 22), but it's an indication of who managed to have more supplies available at launch if nothing else.

Pachter also expects next-gen to have hurt sales of Wii U as he expects hardware sales to have fallen 65 percent year-on-year. It should be noted that the Wii U have decent numbers to compete with as it launched in November last year (425,000 sold in November 2012). Pachter's estimation would have Nintendo's console at around 150,000 units for November. Remains to be seen how accurate his estimations are.
