The latest update on the PlayStation Blog confirms that the What's New feature is now live on PSN on PS4, with Sony set to keep us informed as and when other services come online.
It's been a tricky launch for PS4 so far, with many gamers experiencing issues with losing connectivity to PSN during online sessions and when downloading content.
We spoke to PSN customer support to find out what kind of solutions were being suggested for gamers who are still experiencing connection problems in the days after the console's launch. Possible solutions include opening certain ports on your wireless router (10070 - 10080) and using a wired ethernet connection to boost the stability of your signal.
We've been running through a wired ethernet cable before and it made no difference, but the port forwarding suggested by PSN support seems to have made a difference and we haven't been kicked from a game in a while (fingers crossed it might continue).
According to the representative, the issues being experienced by gamers are "widespread and random", and Sony are hoping to have the service up and running at full strength within the next 24-48 hours.
