The numbers are in, and the PlayStation 4 is now the fastest selling console in UK history, selling more than Xbox One, and beating the record set by one of their other consoles (if you don't already know which one, can you guess?). Other reports suggest that the PS4 sold in excess of 250k units in just 48 hours, and made a staggering amount of money in the process.

It's not all good news for Sony. There seems to be ongoing problems with PSN and connectivity issues, and a man in North America was shot dead over the weekend as he tried to sell his console.

New new campaign for Total War: Rome II has been announced by Creative Assembly. In Caesar in Gaul players will wage war over a smaller, but more detailed campaign map.

Warhammer 40k games are like buses it would seem. You wait for one for ages and then three or four turn up at the same time.

Just Cause 2's multiplayer mod is coming out of beta soon, The Order: 1886 might well be with us in fall 2014, Lindsay Lohan could be about to sue Rockstar, and DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins should be out tomorrow.

We take a look at the major releases coming in the month of December in Games to Look For.

And finally, many of you will be considering upgrading your old-gen FIFA 14 for the new-gen version. Head this way to find out whether you'd be making a mistake or not if you took the plunge.
