A man in his early 20s, who arranged to privately sell his PlayStation 4 console, was shot dead in the US over the weekend. According to a report in the San Jose Mercury News, the victim, who was shot multiple times and later pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital, arranged to meet the suspected murderer and sell him his PlayStation 4 console.
According to the authorities, during the meeting the suspect shot the victim, took the console and fled, prompting an investigation with Police canvassing locals for any information that might lead them to an arrest.
The PlayStation 4, which is thought to be the console involved in this incident, has been on sale in North America since November 15, and due to its limited availability has been sold privately for figures much higher than its recommended retail price.
