As is the tradition in the US, every year on Black Friday electronic goods get heavily discounted, and the same can be said for a variety of other products, including video games. This year is no different, and there's a selection of places/stores that are offering games at reduced prices, which can be grabbed online. Get your credit card ready...

If you've got a PC, then the Autumn Sale on Steam should be your first port of call. GOG.com is offering 65 games at 70 percent off, and Greenman Gaming are offering four deals every four hours for four days. The recently opened Humble Store has a sale of their own, as does Gamersgate.

Dark Souls for less than a fiver (on Steam).

It's not just PC gamers that are well catered for, with Xbox 360 discounts on display courtesy of Major Nelson, and there's also a healthy amount of price cuts over on PSN according to the PlayStation Blog. Amazon has a selection of products on sale, and Apple are also offering discounts for one day only. Away from the internet, and retailers up and down the country are also offering discounts on electrical equipment, aping the annual American tradition that marks Thanksgiving. Any that we missed? Add them in the comments section at the end.
