After going on an extended break back in December, the closed beta for Blizzard's Sci-Fi shooter Overwatch is returning on February 9th. The closed beta comes back with a few new features added since December, with the blog post a brand new progression system, two new maps, a new game mode, several hero balance updates, and a series of private game updates, one of which is full A.I matches.

Players who had access to the closed beta prior to the break will still be able to play when it comes back, and on top of this new players can apply to gain access to the upcoming closed beta here.

No specific release date has officially been confirmed for Blizzard's latest project, but the title has been slated for a release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One during spring of this year. More about the beta news can be found on the official blog.
