Overkill's The Walking Dead launched earlier this month and the reception for the zombie-filled co-op shooter has been a little mixed. One of the criticisms levelled at the game by fans was with regards to its cost, and in response to those concerns, Starbreeze has just released a new version that'll get players in the door at a lower price.

The new Starter Edition costs $30 (that's just under £25) and includes all of the season one content - that's basically the missions the game launched with. If you want any of the new missions, such as the new episode that just landed for season two, you'll have to pay extra.

A nice touch, however, is the fact that if you only own the season one content, you can still play the season two content if your friend has it.

Speaking of which, the second season's now up and running with the release of No Sanctuary, a new mission which picks up where the first season left off. Check out the trailer for that below.
