Over 5 million gamers have played State of Decay 2
The zombie sequel launched almost a year ago, and has accrued many players from its release on Xbox Game Pass.

State of Decay 2 claimed high positions on several sales charts (most notably UK and US) when it was released almost a year ago, but it was also one of the first Microsoft titles to be launched straight to Xbox Game Pass, which seems to have paid off when looking at the player numbers.
Last year, we reported that the game had over three million players, and yesterday Xbox's Aaron Greenberg took to Twitter to reveal that a new milestone has been reached:
"Big congrats to the team @undeadlabs on having @StateOfDecay 2 hit a record milestone with over 5 million players!"
