Despite mixed reviews, it seems like Final Fantasy XIII has been a really good deal for Square Enix. In a press release about the upcoming Steam version of Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix proudly announces that more than 11 million copies has been shipped of the entire trilogy. Of course, critics would note that sales of each entry of the trilogy have been trending downwards.
The last game in the trilogy was Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, released in February this year, and is supposed to be the last game about Lightning. Since then, the heroine has only been seen as a guest character in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and she will also star in the upcoming Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.
