Nintendo kindly allowed us to get our hands on The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening on the Switch recently, and when we played the remake all the memories came flooding back from the original.

What's more is we even have three video clips to show you, one of which shows us how Totaka's Song sounds in the new version. Long-time fans of the game may know this from the original, a tune which comes from Kazumi Totaka.

It wouldn't be a Zelda game without dungeons, and in the second clip below we enter the Colour Dungeon to take on three big enemies, including an electric ChuChu, a stone golem, and a Hardhit Beetle.

The last clip shows us walking around Koholint Island in all its remade glory, which is packed with enemies to fight and secrets to see. Red-mailed Link is featured, and we're bolstered by some new skills as well.

Are you more excited for this version of Link's Awakening now?
