Earlier today Nintendo hosted an Indie World stream in which they announced upcoming releases for the Nintendo Switch, and during this show they ended with the surprise (or not, as it was leaked earlier this month) that Ori and the Blind Forest is coming to Nintendo's console on September 27.
That's great news, especially considering it's a Microsoft Studios title previously available on PC and Xbox, but what's even better is that Moon Studios game director Thomas Mahler has said on ResetEra that the Moonity Engine for the game has been "super optimised" now.
What does this mean for you though? Well, Mahler says we can expect 1080p and 60 FPS in docked mode, and 720p with 60 FPS in handheld. "Enjoy buttery smooth Ori that looks exactly like it does on PC / Xbox on your Switch," he added.
Will you play it on Switch?
