To say that this season of the Call of Duty League is wide open is probably a bit of an understatement. We're in the final quarter of the season now as three of the four Majors have concluded, and each Major has already seen a different winner, with the overall standings for the season separated by only 35 points between the top three teams.

With this in mind, CDL fans can probably infer that it is OpTic Texas who came out on top last night and won the Major III tournament hosted by the Toronto Ultra. The Texan team defeated Atlanta Faze in the grand finals to win the event and to decrease the gap at the top of the standings to just 20 points, with Faze in the lead at 425, OpTic in second at 405, and the Ultra coming up third with 390 points. The next closest team is the New York Subliners at 255, but if they can piece together an excellent Major IV to become the fourth unique Major winner of the season, this gap will be shrunk even further.

Either way, the fourth Major - now not hosted by anyone due to the Carolina Royal Ravens being unable to host as expected - is set to take place between May 31 and June 30, all before the Championship Weekend this summer.
