OpTic take home the Gears of War trophy in Mexico

The Gears Pro Circuit went to Mexico City this weekend, and OpTic proved once more why they're the best in the business.

If you were to name the best team in professional Gears of War right now most people would say OpTic Gaming, and now the successful team has added another title to their trophy cabinet after winning the Gears Pro Circuit event that took place in Mexico City this past weekend.

The team won $80,000 USD for their troubles, with second place Denial Esports winning half of this. Denial might be disappointed with the results though, as they actually sent OpTic down to the losers bracket after a 2-0 win.

OpTic had an entertaining match with Ghost Gaming to get back to the finals for a rematch with Denial, and after resetting the bracket with a 2-0 win they then won 4-0 to sweep Denial and claim the trophy for themselves.

Can OpTic be stopped?
