The Halo World Championship has come to a close. Following bringing 20 of the best teams in the world to Seattle to compete for a share of a $1 million prize pool, the tournament now has a victor, with that very organisation being OpTic Gaming.
The team, who has proved to be a titan over the course of the year, following victories at the North American Super and the Orlando Major, has now been crowned as World Champions as well, after defeating Cloud9 in the grand finals 4-0.
This result has OpTic Gaming heading home with $400,000 in prize money, as well as the title for the 2022 season.
