Ater the global release of the action-adventure game One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe, Bandai Namco has announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe is coming to Japan on the Nintendo Switch.

This musou-style action game developed by Omega Force for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita returns in this new edition, which contains the base game plus 42 pieces of DLC that expand the story mode and the wardrobes of some of the characters. Specific to this version is the local co-op mode for two players, one Joy-Con each, but the online co-op mode from past versions is missing.

According to a comparison table posted on the official website, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 will run at 30 FPS and 1080p resolution when docked, downscaling to 720p on portable mode on Switch. In comparison, this is 1080p and 60 FPS on PS4, running at 720p and 60 FPS on PS3.

This new version hasn't been announced for western markets yet, but it could happen in the future. Anyway, if you're interested, you will be able to buy it from the Japanese eShop on December 21 for 5,800 yen, which equates to roughly £38.

Is this a game you'd love to see come to the west?
