The International is the biggest competition in the esports world when you talk about prize money, so much so that winners OG have topped The Esports Observer's list of the 10 highest-earning teams of 2018 due to their winnings in that event.

Back in August their first-place prize of $11.23 million USD was earned, meaning they sit above Team Liquid's $7.2 million rather comfortably, doubling third-place team PSG Esports at $5.35 million too. You may notice that all three have a big presence in Dota 2 as well, which is where a lot of this money came from.

Can we see other teams aside from The International winners take first place in 2019?
