Speaking to Polygon Obsidian Entertainment CEO Feargus Urquhart confirmed the studio will likely look to develop a sequel to their throwback RPG Pillars of Eternity next.

"But with Eternity 2, that's the next thing. Probably at the end of this month, Josh [Sawyer] and Adam [Brennecke], the key guys on the team are all going to sit down. They've already come up with a list of what they want to do, kind of new game systems and that kind of stuff. We're going to try and get going on that as soon as we can."

Urquhart also said they'll likely go the Kickstarter route with this one as well, although it has yet to be decided. Pillars of Eternity is scheduled for release on March 26.

REVIEW. Written by José Manuel Bringas

"Obsidian's invented a time machine. We're back to the brilliance of the 90s RPG, with pre-rendered environments, isometric viewpoints and intricate stories with tons of text."
