Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Pillars of Eternity, founded by Interplay veterans showed off their upcoming game at The Game Awards tonight. Notably, the game is going to be the studio's first game as a Microsoft studio, but given the publisher is Private Division (Take-Two) and that deal was in place prior to the Microsoft deal this game won't be an exclusive.

The Outer Worlds will release for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One in 2019 and judging from the trailer it's a sci-fi RPG set in space. The trailer showed the world in a first-person perspective and it seems the player starts off from inside a cryo-pod of some sort.

How excited are you for The Outer Worlds?
