Some fans have criticised Epic and Psyonix's decision, while others seem to like the change of pace.

Yesterday we reported on Epic Games and Psyonix deciding to remove randomised loot boxes from Rocket League entirely, and while a lot of the gaming community don't appreciate loot crates and randomised rewards, not everybody is happy about Rocket League heading in this direction, as pointed out by PC Gamer.

On Twitter and other social media sites some fans are claiming that randomised rewards are a fun concept, and that the game with its Rocket Pass is moving more into the realms of Fortnite with this change. Others simply enjoy opening crates, and much like opening FIFA Ultimate Team packs there's a community built around this as well, trying to get the best items.

Of course there's both sides of the coin, and a lot of people are actually happy about randomised crates becoming history, but where do you stand?
