Northgard developer Shiro Games has revealed the third major free update for their strategy game, called Conquest, which is a standalone game mode to be played either alone or co-op with your fellow warriors.
Shiro Games promises over 100 hours of content with the expansion and its challenges, and we're told we need to collaborate a lot if we're to succeed in co-op. Solo mode, however, lets you personalise your Clan with bonuses, letting you defeat other Clans and get the throne.
Co-op, however, encourages teams to experiment with each other and find unique combos. While two players might seem like an advantage, we're promised "double the problems" as well as double power and bonuses.
We also get a Conquest Map with this update as well, featuring plenty of challenges, three of which are specific to each Clan and remain constant. The others are given randomly, so if you restart a game you'll always get new challenges to approach. If you succeed in one of the three specific ones though, different paths are unlocked, and you can choose which to pursue.
