While the Valorant Champions Tour won't actually start until February 2023, when the Brazilian Kickoff Tournament is held, competitive Valorant will first be back in the New Year in early January when the North American Challengers League debuts.

Seeing 12 teams all competing against one another for a spot in the Ascension tournament, where the chance to compete in global Valorant events will be on offer, the Challengers League will start in January, and will be hosted by The Knights organisation.

As for who will be competing in the league, we're told that six teams will be directly invited, and the other six will earn spots by competing in the open qualifiers that will be held from January 9.
