Even with rumours of a new Halo game looming, the fifth installment still remained a hot topic of conversation earlier this week, as its main webpage was updated to display the Windows 10 logo.
The updated store page was noticed by a Resetera forum member who reached out to Microsoft Support and surprisingly got that the response that Halo 5 was a PlayAnywhere title.
This was, of course, false information and development director Frank O'Connor responded and told hopeful fans: "Sorry guys that's an error. That's two inaccurate Halo stories this morning but understandable. It's not impossible H5 could come to PC one day but it's not being worked on at this time. Black and white, no semantic trickery."
Fortunately for PC fans, Halo Infinite was revealed last night and it looks like the next entry in the series will be coming to the PC as well as Xbox One.
