Over at the official PlayStation Blog, Josh Tsui from Robomodo has shared some new details regarding the online mode for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, which will feature free-skate maps as lobbies for 20 players, plus dedicated servers.
Tsui also confirmed that the PS3 version (and therefore we assume Xbox 360 as well) of the game will not feature any kind of online feature.
On other skating news, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will feature some familiar faces from both Sony and Microsoft (or heads, to be precise). If you get the game on PS3 or PS4, you will get access to Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet), Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank) and Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal) masks to wear on your character.
If you choose to get the game on Xbox One (it's not yet clear if Xbox 360 is included - we'll update below when we know), you get masks for Sunset Overdrive's default protagonist, plus Cuphead and Mugman from Cuphead. There's even a trailer you can watch bellow featuring the PlayStation characters.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will be coming September 29, when it'll grind its way onto PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
