Nintendo Switch updates to version 7.0.0
You can get some new profile pictures from New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, as well as some extra languages.
On January 28 (yesterday) Nintendo released a new system update for the switch, bringing the OS software to version 7.0.0. Typically these updates are for software stability, although this update did at least bring a few new features for Switch users.
Players can now select from six fresh New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe icons to personalise their user accounts, adding to the existing choice of other famous Nintendo icons.
Additional languages in other regions have also been added, and are accessible from the home menu. Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), and Korean are the three new options, and general system stability improvements are also included in the patch, as usual.
It's a good time to be a Switch owner right now in general, because joining the already rich catalog of games, including first-party titles and excellent indies, we also have a lot more content coming in the future. Last week's Indie Highlights show, for instance, gave us a taste of some of the games on their way to us in 2019, which you can watch below.
