Nintendo Switch gets firmware update v9.0.0

This even includes a feature for the Nintendo Switch Lite, for those who want to use a wireless controller.

Those with a Nintendo Switch would have noticed a system update this week, and this actually updates it to version 9.0.0, as revealed by Nintendo's patch notes. Alarm notifications have been added to system settings as a part of this, and a search feature for the News Channel has been included too.

What's more is that you can now display QR Code to check-in, via the User Settings, and touch screen sensitivity settings can be configured as well, selecting between standard and stylus sensitivity.

For Nintendo Switch Lite users they have the option to turn the system button input on and off, with the off option meaning the system no longer gets input from buttons, except Capture and Home, hence it can be used with a compatible wireless controller.

What's more is that Online Play Invites is now on User's Page, with invites from friends included in this section.
