While there are no official details on Nintendo's next dedicated gaming console, currently codenamed NX, a bunch of rumours are floating around. Now Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has poured fuel on the fire, by talking briefly about the system in an interview with Sankei West (picked up by Dualshockers).
In the interview, Kimishima compares the NX to the Wii U and 3DS, and says that the console will provide a "different way to play with a dedicated machine". Additionally, he says that development on the console continues at a steady pace, but also that Nintendo won't rush the NX to market.
Nintendo is set to formally announce the console sometime this year.
