The Swedish esports organisation, Ninjas in Pyjamas, has announced its Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers roster. Set to be the organisation's first all-women's Valorant team, the squad, known as NIP Lightning, will be competing in the Game Changers tournament now that it has returned.
As for who make up NIP's Game Changers roster, the team is as follows:
With Jackson 'Jaxsen' Popelka tapped to coach, and Nic ́Wolf ́ Sølvmose taking over managerial duties.
"Female players need a few years with the same resources and investment as the males have gotten in the past years," said Hicham Chahine, CEO of NIP. "Our VCT Game Changers team is the second non-male roster at NIP and we plan to continue to invest in and elevate female players. We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity within the esports community - from the equal representation of the employees at our company to the players that represent the Ninjas in Pyjamas brand in competition."
This reveal comes six-months after NIP first announced its intention to join the Game Changers circuit.
