The Swedish esports organisation will sport the energy drink brand's logo on its jerseys, with more planned down the line.
The Swedish esports organisation, Ninjas in Pyjamas has entered into a partnership with the massive energy drink brand, Red Bull. As noted in a press release, we're told that this will start by seeing Red Bull's logo popping up on NIP's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive jerseys, when the team competes at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, but that more will come of this deal in the future.
"Red Bull has been in the game almost as long as we have —and where there is esports, there is Red Bull," said Hicham Chahine, CEO of NIP. "It's a feeling that Ninjas finally got their wings! Seeing the raging crimson bull on our NIP jerseys will be a proud moment for our organisation."
The exact details of what else the partnership will evolve to include has yet to be detailed, but we are told that it is "way more than just a logo on a shirt."
