After being announced for the first time at the PlayStation Experience in 2015, we haven't heard any more information on Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. The PS4 exclusive RPG developed by Level-5, sequel to the game released in 2010 in Japan and 2013 in the West. Recently, IGN Japan had the opportunity to chat with Level-5's CEO, Akihiro Hino, who wanted to reassure all the fans, saying that the game is still in development.
Hino in fact said that Level-5 is working hard on Ni No Kuni II and the team is made up largely of veterans who have already developed the first game. The goal is to create a game that can fully meet the players expectations, involving both adult players and younger ones. Hino also denied rumors about alleged problems during the development of the game, thus confirming that Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom hasn't been cancelled and that the development goes smoothly. At this point, we hope to learn more about Ni No Kuni II at PlayStation Meeting (scheduled this Wednesday) or at Tokyo Game Show 2016 (perhaps more likely), planned for next week.
