Vanguard gets Game Update 6 next week

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, one of the MMOs that had a horrible launch (to say the least) but since then has grown into one of the hidden gems of the genre, will be getting its sixth major upgrade next week - Game Update 6. Behind that horrible boring "title" there's a lot of bug fixes (thousands, according to SOE, which are still very welcome in that game), upgraded character models (finally!) and the brand new trial area Isle of Dawn.

If you still haven't tried Vanguard, I recommend you do as soon as Game Update 6 arrives and the trial becomes available for download. It really is a nice game, it's got great graphics, a awesome crafting system and a friendly community (most of the time).

Actually, writing this and still not getting into the Warhammer Online open beta (my adventures with GOA is still being chronicled in my open beta live blog) almost makes me want to resub to Vanguard straight away. But I'll wait for a bit and get back into the game when I got more time on my hands.
