Warner supports Square Enix bid

Warner Bros have announced that they support the recent Square Enix bid on troubled British publisher Eidos. Warner Bros. owns 20 per cent of Eidos and were considered the main contender to buy the publisher, but has now seemingly pulled out of the race and offered their support to the Japanese RPG giant. The Eidos board will decide whether to support the Square Enix bid or not late March, but with both management and a big owner like Warner backing the bid it seems very likely at this point that they will also support the deal.
