Curve Digital and Fallen Tree Games' American Fugitive has just released on PC and PS4, and before the game arrives on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One (on May 23 and 24 respectively) we have a launch trailer to celebrate the occasion.

The game has a base price of £17.99 ($19.99 USD, €19.99), but there's a 20% launch discount on all versions as well, meaning you can step into Will Riley's shoes for a lower price. Those who have played the original Grand Theft Auto games might want to do that too, since the top-down crime game is inspired by those classic titles.

American Fugitive throws us into the huge world of Redrock County, designed with '80s rural North America in mind, and when you're not on a crime spree you can always try the stunt jumps and time trial challenges dotted about.

Lewis Boadle, Art Director at Fallen Tree Games, said: "It is time! Time to finally unveil our labour of love to the world, this indie behemoth that has occupied so many days (and nights) since 2016. All of our little team have poured their hearts and souls into American Fugitive, in an attempt to create something that was at once both familiar and fresh."

Will you invest in this? It might be worth checking out our livestream replay before you do.

REVIEW. Written by Lisa Dahlgren

"The simple gameplay is well-crafted and the narrative engages the player while never getting too heavy."
