Nintendo's Switch-exclusive fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has undoubtedly seen success since its launch late last year but just how big of a success the game would turn out to be was hard to foresee. Nintendo recently announced that the game had sold 13.81 million copies worldwide (a fact that we covered in this article), something we didn't cover, however, was the fact that with those sales numbers, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate became the best-selling game in its genre in just a few months.
This means that the game knocked Super Smash Bros. Brawl off the number one spot. Are you a Super Smash Bros. fan?
