The latest Nintendo earnings report has landed, bringing us information on the last quarter ending on March 31, and in this we find out that Nintendo has sold 2.47 million units of the Switch in this period, bringing lifetime sales up to 34.74 million (thanks, Engadget), surpassing the lifetime sales of the Nintendo 64 and sitting behind the SNES' figures of 49.1 million.

As for software sales, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has managed 13.81 million sales so far, with the Pokémon: Let's Go games selling 10.63 million. 23 titles have surpassed one million copies sold, and the Nintendo DS family of consoles has sold 2.55 million sales in the fiscal year, with the NES and SNES mini consoles selling 5.95 million.

Revenue of 1.2 trillion yen is reported for the entire fiscal year - equating to around $10.7 billion USD, or £8.3 billion - and this is an increase from 1.06 trillion the year before.

As Niko Partners senior analyst Daniel Ahmad shared on Twitter, the Nintendo earnings event also told us that the company allegedly doesn't plan to reveal new hardware at E3, and that Mario Kart Tour (the mobile game) signups are now live.
