Epic Games hires Infinity Ward co-founder Jason West
Respawn Entertainment and Infinity Ward co-founder Jason West has returned to game development.

Geoff Keighley shared an industry scoop just recently regarding the whereabouts and future of Respawn Entertainment and Infinity Ward co-founder Jason West. West, who was fired from Infinity Ward mother company Activision alongside fellow co-founder Vince Zampella in 2010, has apparently started working in games again.
The six-year hiatus following him being fired, dealing with the legal disputes against Activision afterwards, founding Respawn Entertainment with Zampella and later quitting because of family issues, is therefore over as West joined Fortnite studio Epic Games a month ago.
As for what West is working on at the studio remains unclear, but plenty of people are excited to see him back.
