Xbox Game Pass a "great way to expose your product"

We spoke to Agostino Simonetta from ID@Xbox about the subscription service, who told us that Game Pass offers many opportunities.

ID@Xbox's Regional Lead Agostino Simonetta is someone we've talked to many times, and we caught up with him yet again at GDC (Game Developer Conference) earlier this year, where we spoke to him about the games coming to the Game Pass subscription service and what it means for them.

"Game Pass is an always-evolving program," he told us. "We love the program, we love the opportunity that gives developers to showcase their products and to give those products a big audience, build their fanbase [...] The response we're getting from the fans is fantastic."

"It's a great way to expose your product to a large audience of people that otherwise might not engage with your game, or maybe they are not quite sure and they have an opportunity to go and try it as part of the subscription, and then they go and tell their friends, and then their friends might not have Game Pass and they go and buy the game. When the games go out of Game Pass, we announce that they are going out, and you find a lot of people go 'I really like that game and want to have it as part of my catalog', [and] go and buy the game."

Speaking of Game Pass, it's not only ID@Xbox titles that are arriving there, but we've also got other big games like Fallout 4 and Just Cause 4 recently as well.
