If you've been playing The Reckoning in Destiny 2 but have been left feeling a bit unfulfilled, then there's good news, as developer Bungie has revealed that update 2.2.1 will increase the drop rates of weapons, and add most of the weapons to the loot pool of Gambit Prime, increasing the way you can add Season of the Drifter gear to your arsenal.

Most weapons have the chance to drop at the end of a Gambit Prime match, with the drop chance increasing in both this and The Reckoning every time you don't get a weapon, meaning there won't be long periods without a drop, eventually ending up at the point where you're guaranteed an item.

Gnawing Hunger, Just In Case, and Doomsday will remain as exclusive drops in the Reckoning, however.

People in the comments have been asking for figures on the increased rates, like percentages, but for now this is all the detail we have.

Will this make Gambit Prime and The Reckoning more rewarding to you?
