What does Trover Saves the Universe and Astroneer have in common? Not a whole lot, but last night at PAX East we found out that Gearbox is partnering with both games to supply physical retail for them, as part of Gearbox Publishing's aim "to help bring high-quality indie games to retail shelves," according to the press release.

Astroneer has been in Steam Early Access in 2016 and only received its 1.0 update last month, bringing the full version so players can continue to explore space in the 25th-century. This colourful game is hitting shelves later this year.

Trover Saves the Universe, however, is releasing digitally and physically on May 31, with the release date being revealed earlier this week. We even spoke to the developers at Squanch Games to hear more about it, which you can watch down below.
