Havocado coming to Steam Early Access next month

Webble Games' physics-based fighting title was created by YouTuber Kwebbelkop and his team, providing multiplayer chaos.

Havocado is an eccentric, high-speed multiplayer physics-based fighting game in which you can punch, drive, shoot, and use magic to topple your opponents, and developer Webble Games has revealed it'll launch on Steam Early Access on April 25.

Four players enter the arena, and with 50 weapons and their own creativity, must fight to be the last alive, not dissimilar to concepts like Gang Beasts in the past. This also represents an industry debut for Webble Games, founded by YouTuber Jordi 'Kwebbelkop' Maxim van den Bussche.

"I've been playing games since I was a little kid; obviously, more recently as a YouTuber. I know what YouTubers want, I know what they are looking for, so why not give it to them? This together with my passion for entertainment and a life-long dream of creating my own games inspired me to start Webble Games," he said.

"With Havocado, I looked pretty exhaustively, at games that worked for YouTube but never really took off for gamers. I played all these games and found, I think, what didn't work so well for gamers. So, really — by process of elimination — we arrived at Havocado. I pitched this to our new Webble team and together we made a game which isn't only good fun to play but also really fun to watch."

"Today we are playing Havocado together with our Discord players and you're all invited! It'll be a blast but — for us at Webble — this is also work. We are fine-tuning all the fun in the alpha build and this will help the game make the right impression with players when it arrives on Steam EA next month."
