With both Sony and EA choosing not to hold press conferences at E3 this year - with Sony skipping the LA event entirely while EA is just focusing on EA Play in a different way - it seems the yearly event will feel quite different in 2019, but at least Bethesda has revealed that they'll be there with a press conference.
On June 9 at 17:30 PT (that's 01:30 the next morning in GMT and an hour later in CET) Bethesda's press conference will begin, which marks the fifth annual showcase they've held. They promise an "in-depth look at Doom Eternal plus much, much more."
As part of their "Be Together" slogan the developer also adds that they want to invite more of the fans to join them, with details like official invitations, how to register, and more coming soon. Like with last year the #BE3 hashtag will be active as well during the event, so fans can share the hype, and of course you can watch the streams if you can't make it there in person.
Bethesda also says "Refresh Walmart Canada!!" as part of their hype, a tongue-in-cheek nod to the leak that revealed Rage 2 prematurely last year, something Pete Hines also referenced on-stage at their press conference in 2018.
We don't know what else we'll see at the event, but Doom Eternal has already gotten fans excited. We wouldn't bet on seeing a lot of Fallout 76 considering its reception though, so perhaps we'll get more on The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield, both of which only got teasers last year.
What do you want to see this year?
