The Sinking City delayed into June

Frogwares and Bigben Interactive revealed the news in a new video, and there are two big reasons for delaying the original March release.

At the end of last month Frogwares and Bigben Interactive gave us a new trailer for The Sinking City that provided an insight into how we'll be investigating the game's mysteries on release, and speaking of release, another new trailer has revealed when we can expect the game to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and it's a little later than expected.

The game was originally scheduled to launch on March 21, but now we can expect it on June 27.

"In order to release the game in a less crowded period and offer players the best possible game experience, the game's release date has been pushed back a few weeks," the press release explains, which community manager Sergey Oganesyan expands upon in the video below.

Oganesyan also explains that this will give more time for optimisation as well, so the team can continue working on the game.

Are you disappointed with the delay?
