Devil May Cry 5 has just released today and has gone down a storm in terms of reviews (you can check ours out right here), and while the game is currently released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, it seems that the Switch might get the game eventually, if certain conditions are met.

Director Hideaki Itsuno recently spoke in an interview with German magazine M! (as shared on Reddit) about the game, in which he said that if Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (the port of the 2012 RPG landing on the Switch on April 23) sells well on Nintendo's console, Devil May Cry 5 might subsequently be ported too.

We also find out in the same interview that the team "started the development of DMC 5, while we didn't have the dev-kits [for] the Switch. Because of that we concentrated on the PS4, Xbox One and PC version" (thanks, Nintendo Life).

When we also spoke to Itsuno earlier this year about a hypothetical Switch version, he told us that FPS would take priority, even if that meant a graphical downgrade.

Would you play Devil May Cry 5 on Switch?
