Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered revealed

After a year of rumours, the European ratings board has finally all but confirmed that we're getting two games from Infinity Ward this year.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered ended up being a great success for Activision, so it didn't take long before we started hearing rumblings about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 getting the same treatment. In fact, both an Amazon listing and several rumours seemed to almost confirm it last March. Activision refused to confirm it though, and we haven't heard anything noteworthy about it since then. Until now.

PEGI, the Pan European Game Information board, has been a bit too eager on the publishing button and has rated what's simply called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campagin Remastered. That's pretty much a confirmation in our book, as PEGI is very reliable and never does stuff like this out of thin air.

With the remaster being all but confirmed, we only have four questions:Does this mean that the rumours about it only including single player were true? Will the controversial "No Russian" level still be in it? Will the remaster be sold separately from the get-go and when is the release date?

How does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 rank on your Call of Duty list, and would you be okay with the remaster being single player only?
