As revealed on Steam's website, Valve has decided to retire the video section of the Steam Store menu. After working on the platform for a few years, Valve has come to the conclusion that video content should be discovered via the associated game or software page, or through search, user tags, recommendations, etc.

"In reviewing what Steam users actually watch, it became clear we should focus our effort on offering content that is either directly related to gaming or, is accessory content for games or software sold on Steam," Valve writes.

Valve has also said that over the coming weeks a number of non-gaming videos will be "retired" and no longer purchasable, although previously purchased content will remain accessible to owners.

Valve launched the video sub-section to Steam Store back in late 2015 in an attempt to broaden the store's available content. One of the main video types that received lots of attention was the purchasable tutorial videos for the various game development software on the site, and following the changes today this type of content will still be accessible under the relevant part of the Steam Store.

Steam is always keeping busy these days, as they've also recently updated SteamVR to match the speed of Beat Saber players. It needs to stay competitive too, as the Epic Games Store has launched as a direct competitor to the service.
