It's been six months since Bandai Namco revealed that Negan from The Walking Dead would be a part of Tekken 7's second season pass, so it's safe to say that we've been waiting a while to see what he can do together with Lucille. Fortunately, we don't have to wait too much longer.
The trailer that first aired at EVO Japan a few days ago starts off just like we expected by showing that Julia Chang is still a very good fighter, and most fans probably expected the trailer to end with the announcement of when she will become a part of Tekken 7's roster.
It turns out, however, that the trailer lasted a little longer than expected. Why? Because we also get to see lots more of what Negan can do as well, which would have been a weird thing to do if his release was further down the line. But then again Bandai Namco had some surprising news to share, as both Julia Chang and Negan will be made available on February 28.
You can find the reason why the developers decided to move away from its one DLC character at a time philosophy at the end of the trailer below. Enjoy.
