Catch Jack the Ripper from April 5 in Dance of Death

New murder-mystery title by Salix Games, Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey will be launching on PC (Steam) this April. The new release features an unusual detective duo of an immortal knight, Sir Lancelot Du Lac and cursed sorceress, Morgana Le Fey chasing down every lead to put notorious killer, Jack the Ripper behind bars.

The game requires players to follow the trail left by the infamous killer whilst wrestling with the pains of the past lives the protagonists lived. The investigations themselves will be nothing but linear as the game features an extensive narrative where crucial choices will affect the outcome of the game.

Jess Saunders, founder of Salix Games had this to say in the press release confirming the release date, "It's fair to say Victorian London wasn't the most glamorous of cities for the masses living amongst the streets. We think we've accurately reflected its gritty and often heinous nature but sprinkled a little bit of magic and mystery with the addition of Du Lac and Fey. It's a tale of two characters coming to terms with their own frailties, all while tracking down London's most notorious killer". At release Dance of Death: Du Lac and Fey will feature three playable characters, the third being a Whitechapel local called Mary Kelley who just happened to be the Ripper's last victim, as well as a wide array of NPC's designed to show you what real life was like in 19th Century London. The game also has a wide variety of voice actors who have appeared in the likes of Dragon Age, Penny Dreadful, Black Mirror and Game of Thrones, so expect some impressive voice acting over the course of your investigation.

Dance of Death is due for an April 5 release date, launching specifically on Steam for PC.
